I kept my phone aside and started talking to her...
People who treat parents as their first priority, never regret in life. This blog is about how making parents our first priority could bring significant change in our lifetimes.
Who do you spend the most time with?
Who is the first person you reach out when you face adversity?
Who do you divvy up your problems with?
Who do you ask for advice?
While most of you could answer FRIENDS, I could yearn there are some among you who could say, PARENTS. Well, people might bear a different insight into this.
From a newborn baby all the way through adulthood, our parents have gladly raised us in spite of all the faults and mistakes we make. They provide us with unconditional love. In spite of everything they did to us, we fail to make them our first priority, fail to show gratitude to them and love them the way they did.
Parents are the best advisors.
Talking to parents is the underdog emotion and we constantly try to seek advice from others and fail to realize the best advisers are at our house. We've people in the house who have lived a life with principles and morals, who have enormous experience, who are probably the only people on earth who want best for you, who will never turn you down. Just because they'll scold us at the beginning for 10 minutes, we avoid them. But if we are patient and listen to them. I can be very sure that we will get the best advice
It's easy for you to be the best in front of your boss cause if you mess with him/her you'll be in trouble.
It's easy for you to be the best for your professor cause he/she might fail you.
It's easy for you to be the best for your friends cause you don't want to lose them, but when it comes to parents, you take them for granted.
It's now the time when you start your journey to be best for your parents, to be the best child you can be, to be the child your parents are proud of!
DEAL WITH KINDNESS AND LOVE. APPRECIATE THEM. THEY'VE SACRIFICED ALOT FOR YOU.
As parents grow older they become demanding and you, on the other hand, become an adult who is thinking you're independent and you could take all the decisions of life, you've your own life and they're treating you like a kid, they don't understand you and you've all these complaints about them in your head and you rant about them to your friends. You tend to forget all the sacrifices your parents took, the pain they went through to make you who you are today.
I cannot put compromises, appreciation, qualities, and importance on one page. Even thousands of pages are small to write about the importance of parents in our life.
......................................................................
But friends, I suggest that you should take care of your parents. Always talk to them, never neglect them for others. Feel proud of parents. Respect their views, follow their guidelines, and communicate with them about your problems. Talk to them. Don’t change to show off. This world is not going to give you anything, everything remains on this planet, but parents are not with us all the time. We all have to perish one day.
QUARANTINE CHALLENGE
Set up your phone to record in your room or living room, ask you parents about their childhood, your childhood, your siblings childhood and stories of your ancestors. Save the recording and keep it as a memory. You'll be surprised to know lot of things and you'll thank me later in life.
I challenge everyone reading this to atleast record video of your parents for 30 mins.
Stay home, stay safe
Love,
