Tough times don't last, tough people do.
The dread of coronavirus has spread all over the world. Social media, news channels and every other person is discussing it. We want to stay updated about the cases so far in the world, country, state, city and locality. Every now and then we check the counts on different sites. It brings in nothing but fear and anxiety.
Psychological stress can dysregulate the human immune system.
The more we see the number of cases and the number of deaths, the more hope we are losing.
And as we lose hope our brain starts to imagine the worst possible scenarios, We start getting stressed.
Recent advances suggest that the immune system doesn't function in isolation but is influenced by other physiological systems such as the endocrine and neuroendocrine systems. Immune cells have receptors for neurotransmitters and hormones such as norepinephrine, epinephrine, and cortisol, which mobilize and traffic immune cells, ideally preparing the body to mount an immune response if needed.
Adrenaline & Cortisol hormones are released when we are stressed. Cortisol is ordinarily anti-inflammatory and contains the immune response, but chronic elevations can lead to the immune system becoming “resistant,” an accumulation of stress hormones, and increased production of inflammatory cytokines that further compromise the immune response.
Don't give power to the disease so much that it weakens your immunity. Remember in the world, brave dies only once but the one who is scared dies a hundred deaths before actually dying.
Worrying will not change the outcome. Pray when you worry.
All we have to do is stay at home, so stay at home peacefully, happily and positively!
Spread love,
Tashistic!
